Lucky Shops

One of the BEST shopping events that I've ever gone to was the "Lucky Magazine Shops" event. It was much better than the "Shecky's Girls Night Out". They had all designer items on super sale. I bought a bunch of Kooba purses, Theory belts for $20 each, & a Chloe dress for $200. My Favorite Boots - Ugg Caroline in Cigar

Everyone kept on saying how comfortable Ugg boots are, so I wanted to try them for myself. The regular Ugg's look like Eskimo boots to me, and they just don't look polished for wearing to work. I opted to buy the Caroline, which is a brown leather boot with a stacked heel. It still comes with the sheepskin footpad, so it is SO comfortable yet stylish. I found them on www.cozyboots.com for cheaper than in the stores.

I also bought for $14 a pair of innersoles in sheepskin that you can put into any of your shoes.

The North Face on eBay

In short, DON'T buy North Face jackets on eBay. For Christmas I tried to buy a McMurdo parka for my boyfriend. He works the door at a nightclub in Manhattan, so I thought it would keep him toasty. I saw a great deal on eBay. It turned out that it was a fake jacket. Who even knew that they make fake jackets? Well now I do, so don't buy North Face on eBay. The seller would not take the jacket back. Luckily I went thru my Jet Blue AMEX dispute process & they made him take it back from me and refund me the money. I wound up buying the jacket from Macy's. I had to pay the full price, but I got the real deal.
