This store is the BEST for all kinds of beauty supplies at discount prices. (Conways also has good deals on toiletries if you live/shop in Manhattan.) I get my shampoo, Essie nailpolish, nailfiles, and boxed hair dye here CHEAP. They also sell blowdryers at good prices as well. It's worth going here instead of CVS. You definitely save.

Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets

Woodbury Commons in Harriman, NY are my FAVORITE outlets to shop in. I went this week with some things I wanted in mind: a Pucci sunhat, a wallet with a window for my i.d., & shirts for work.

While the Pucci outlet seemed more expensive than the items I saw on sale at the Pucci boutique in Las Vegas, I found a big, floppy, floral print sunhat at JCrew for $30, and matching flip-flops for $5.

At Coach I bought an orange leather and animal print iPod holder for $7.99, a leather credit card case for $29.99, and a matching leather long zippered wristlet for $39.99.

At the Gap I scored two short sleeved sweater tops for work at $10 each, and a $5 halter with a built in bra.

At Benetton I got a bright pink button down shirt for $20.

My boyfriend also found a lot of men's clothing - dress shirts, shoes, etc.

I loved the Diane von Furstenberg outlet, which had wrap dresses on sale for $180 (but a small selection with patterns too similiar to the one I have). There is also a Juicy outlet, but the prices still seemed expensive to me.

Cirque du Soleil - Corteo - NYC

I hardly go to concerts or shows, but I used my jet blue AMEX (see the post below) and qualified for double points on my tickets for this show. I am a member of the Cirque club on their website, so I had advanced notice of the show and ordered these tickets months ago. It also helped that I was going on a Tuesday night because I was able to get 4th row tickets, and the inside aisle for more leg room at the regular price. As usual, it was amazing, and I enjoyed it even more from my primo seats. My boyfriend was so impressed by the seats I was able to score, which I consider 2 of the best in the house. I love Cirque du Soleil shows and this was worth the price of the tickets. This was my fourth show. I've seen Mystere, Varekai & Zumanity also.

Jet Blue AMEX Credit Card

My boyfriend turned me on to this one after years of not having a credit card. I was paying off all of my debt and wanted to get a card that I would usually pay the balance in full each month, but I still wanted to get some kind of freebie offers from the company. I am EXTREMELY happy with my Jet Blue AMEX card, and have almost earned myself a free flight already. Also, when I went to the Bahamas and they charged me twice for a massage, AMEX disputed it without me having to call the spa back and forth to take the charge off. The downside is that not all places take AMEX, so I still maintain a Visa/Mastercard that I try not to use (since I don't earn anything for the purchases).
